Ashvan is 17 years old and she moved to Canada with her family in 2012. She is optimistic, lively and full of life. Ashvan is also well-traveled and has been to places in India, UAE, Africa, Lebanon, and Germany which has helped her become compassionate and increase her understanding of different cultures and people. Ashvan attends Windermere Secondary School, where she is the co-founder of UNICEF Team and the SPCA Club. She also leads the WWW club where her main goal is to provide a place for migrant youth to connect and and share their experiences. Ashvan is an artist and likes painting because she enjoys the expressive freedom that it gives her. She is a firm believer in living life to the fullest and to make the most of every opportunity that she comes across.
