Spaces for young people on our advisory team – apply by December 14, 2015

There is an opportunity for new young people to join the Fresh Voices Youth Advisory Team!

You will be joining a group of around 20 other young immigrants and refugees and youth workers who work together to make sure youth voice is respected and listened to by policy and decision makers.

Specifically the existing Youth Advisory Team is looking for:

  • 8-10 young people who self-identify as racialized immigrants or refugees who now live in Metro Vancouver.
  • 2-3 youth workers who self-identify as immigrants or refugees and who are working on projects relevant to the immigrant and refugee community.

What you get:

  • An opportunity to join others in public engagement work that means your voice  influences policies, services and programs affecting immigrant and refugee communities in BC.
  • Attend events, conferences and meetings with decision makers and elected officials in order to work in collaboration to improve policies and program in BC.

If you want to take action on immigrant and refugee youth issues, the Youth Advisory Team is a great way to get involved.

The deadline for applications is December 14, 2015.
